Christmas was a great success again this year, with both churches hosting several packed services, with both regulars and those who have never been to either church before. It served both as a time for celebration and a time to reflect on a year of change and progress, with it being our first Christmas as a joint parish.
Starting with Christmas is Coming, which was hugely popular as usual, both churches hosted Carol services and Christingle, with St John's christinle attracting over 200 people, with both the pews and the choir stalls filled! Midnight mass followed, leading in to Christmas day, with a well attended service at each church, followed by Turkey and presents.
Thank you to all those who made this happen, those who attended, churchwaderns, our lay readers and of course our vicar, Peter Ingram, working yet again on his Birthday (December 25th).
